Euro Target offers cars of all makes and models, and not only… even to motorcyclists we can offer motorcycles of all makes! The cars we deal with can be divided into three main categories: New cars, Zero km cars and Six-month used cars/Like new.

NEW CARS : Brand new cars never registered (neither in Italy nor abroad).
Mainly those cars equipped with the features and the options requested by the customer, thus being ordered according to specific personal needs. It may happen to encounter new-car bargains, in other words, brand new cars never registered and sold cheaply by those dealerships exempt from registration duty because they have achieved certain aims (aims achieved without being forced to convert such cars into Zero km cars). They only need to have the excise tax bill paid and do surely benefit from official Warranty provided by the manufacturer.

ZERO KM CARS : New cars in every respect, both bureaucratically and physically. If they are Italian they just need a transfer of ownership, while if they are foreign cars they need the Italian registration.
Car dealers find it worthwhile to purchase and register some cars in their name in order to attain sales bonus or company targets. Such cars, once registered with the Registry of Motor Vehicles in the Dealer’s name cannot be sold directly to the buyer by the Manufacturer themselves anymore, as it happens with new brand cars.
Nevertheless, they are actually entirely new cars, like those just out of the factory, because they have never been used, nor have they ever run, and their mileometer may just indicate the Km needed for the road test. Hence the definition they have been given: “Zero Kilometres cars”. Moreover, although it refers to fiscal purposes, we should take into account the Legislative Decree n. 331 of 30 August 1993, amended and converted into the Law n. 427 of 29 October 1993 defining which features a new car (registration not exceeding six months or distance covered exceeding 6.000 kilometres) or a used one (registration beyond six months or distance covered exceeding 6.000 kilometres) must have.
As far as the Italian regulation on the “Tremonti bis” rate remission is concerned, the Bureau of Internal Revenue, by the Departmental Circular 4/E/2002, has clarified that such rate remission shall be applied also to purchases involving the so-called “zero kilometres cars”, but they have never worked out and have rather been used by resellers just for showing purposes. In any case, the buyer should be notified about the novelty of the product by the seller themselves. These cars are later sold at more convenient prices for the customer so that dealerships can count on a quick recovery of the costs.
They are covered by the official Warranty provided by the manufacturer. These cars are mainly equipped with the features and the options most in demand.

SIX-MONTH USED CARS/LIKE NEW: Cars used during 6 months, they are 6 to usually maximum 12 months old (in fact they are used for a term of a maximum six months, subsequently the car is kept in warehouse waiting to be sold), they have covered from 6.000 to 35.000 km depending on the offer. Such cars are normally lent by Manufacturers to their employees or to industries linked to car manufacturing as loan for use for six months, afterwards they are withdrawn and sold as six-month used cars.
The purpose of this transaction, pioneered by Mercedes-Benz in 1997 with the renowned “Jahreswagen” cars, is to deepen market penetration selling cars like new at very reduced prices.
In this way Manufacturers get the chance to attract new customers who otherwise, in lack of these cars, would surely opt for new cars less expensive, of other makes and thus of other Manufacturers. These cars which are new both virtually and physically have a great demand and are especially traded by Multi-brand car showrooms, since they do not make official dealerships obtain any profit.
If they are Italian they just need a transfer of ownership, while if they are foreign cars they need the Italian registration. As far as Warranty is concerned, these cars benefit from the cover provided by the Manufacturer as well, but the term of cover is shorter than that of new cars. For instance a six-month car having already run 25.000 Km will be covered for the remaining 18 months (provided the official two-year warranty of the manufacturer is equal to 24 months, as it normally is for the majority of them).

WARRANTY: The term of cover for each car is fixed by the Manufacturer. For all makes of cars we deal with it starts with the date of the first registration and expires at the end of the term fixed by the manufacturer for a specific model. Currently, manufacturers all provide at least a two-year warranty (although we are in a transition time, many manufacturers have already extended up to 5 years the term of cover under warranty, others have come to 3 while some others have stopped at 2, however they are already planning to extend it to get into line and be competitive).
